The construction operating system

Construction, without limits.

One system where everything talks to everything — the clock-in feeds payroll, the pour becomes earned revenue, the safety forms build your COR. Production, people and money, live in one place — run by a crew that needs zero training and never creates an account.

No signup. No email. The demo opens right now.
Datum login — phone number, no account
Four-digit PIN — the whole login
Northbridge home — your tools
Schedule — pours, picks and deliveries by day
Safety — FLHA, procedures, inspections
A worker types their phone number — no account, no app store
The spine

Modules keep shipping — and no two companies run the same set. Datum is configured to your company and then to every person in it: each role gets a custom view of exactly what matters to them, and nothing they don't need. Turning things on, locking views, assigning people — all clicks, no code, changeable any day.

+ And counting new modules ship constantly
Configured per companyTurn on exactly the modules you run — nothing else exists for your people.
Custom view per personThe foreman, the operator, the bookkeeper, the owner — each opens Datum and sees only their work.
Changed in clicksAssign, lock, re-arrange, hand off — any day, no code, takes minutes.
Why crews actually use it

Every other platform fails at the same 3 places. We started there.

Read the reviews of the big names — safety apps and management giants alike — and the same complaints repeat: crews locked out of accounts, weeks of training, and a per-user bill that punishes you for hiring. Datum was designed against all three.

Your crew never creates an account.

Phone number and a 4-digit PIN. No downloads, no passwords, no verification emails, no "logged out again." A brand-new worker is filing signed safety forms 10 seconds after you add them.

"Ridiculous security requirements… logs me out every day… always waiting for it to sync." — an actual app-store review of a leading competitor. That sentence can't happen here.

The owner's desk.

Live dashboards built from the field's own taps: production per site, earned vs drawn, labour cost against work measured, margins that move as the day happens. Bookkeeping, statements and invoicing on the same spine — see what's working, catch what isn't, while there's still time to fix it. (The serious safety layer is in here too: COR-ready, WorkSafeBC-cited, e-signed, English y español.)

The hour

We launch your whole company while your coffee's still warm.

This isn't a promise, it's a procedure — the same machine that built our live demo company runs for you. One conversation about your trade, your colors and your people, and the machine does the rest, proving each step live before we hand you the keys.

"That's not a demo — that's your actual app. Here's your PIN."
Your company, your colorsbrand, sites and crew — each person gets a PIN
Your safety library, adaptedproven procedures & hazard libraries, reworded to your company
Your own address on the internetyourname.datum.contractors — registered and secured automatically
Proven live, in front of youwe watch every check turn green before you pay a cent
The honest comparison

What the giants make you do — and what we don't.

The usual playbook

Per-user pricing that punishes hiring — and climbs at every renewal
A 45-minute sales demo just to learn the price
Accounts, passwords, auto-logouts — the field gives up by week two
Weeks of onboarding, "change management," training sessions
Spanish? Maybe, somewhere in the settings
"It feels like a trap." — a real customer review of a leading safety platform, on their renewal pricing

The Datum way

One flat price for the whole company — every worker included
The demo is public. Try it right now, no sales call
Phone + PIN. Signed FLHA in under a minute, first try
Zero training — designed for gloves, sun and a loud site
English y español on every form, one tap apart
Built by people who run construction companies — not by a software company that visited one.
ONE SUBSCRIPTION, NOT TWELVE

Datum does everything.
Delete the rest.

Most companies run their operation on a pile of disconnected apps — each with its own login, its own invoice, its own export nobody reads. Datum is all of them, in one system, where everything talks to everything.

FOUNDING TEN — the first 10 companies lock their rate for life
For general contractors & developers

One project. Every trade.
Everything feeds up to you.

You've got 15 trades on site and 15 different versions of the truth — paper FLHAs in a truck, orientation records in someone's inbox, daily reports that show up when they show up. Put Datum on the project and every sub runs on it, free to them, from day one. Their crews sign in, do their paperwork on their phones, and every record lands in one live dashboard: yours.

Know who's on your site. Right now.Live headcount by trade, every worker oriented and on record before they swing a hammer. No more counting hard hats from the trailer window.
Safety records that arrive signed.Orientations, hazard assessments, incidents, toolbox talks — completed, signed, timestamped, filed. When the officer or the owner asks, you pull it up in 10 seconds.
See the slip before it costs you.Every trade's look-ahead in one view, so a framing delay shows up as a drywall problem 2 weeks early. A day on the critical path is real money in general conditions — catch it while it's still free to fix.
A record that holds up.Daily reports from every trade, written the day it happened — the evidence that decides claims. If it ever goes to lawyers, your file is already built. Theirs isn't.
Your subs won't fight it — it's free on your project, it runs on the phone they already carry, and it's less work than the paper you're making them do now.
Put Datum on your next project → One price for the job. Every trade included.

Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

What happens to my data if I cancel? You take it with you — full export, free, even after you leave. Your records were never our hostage.
What if my crew won't use it?If they can text a photo, they can run Datum — phone number, PIN, working. And if we're wrong, you have 30 free days and a two-tap cancel to prove it.
Is this actually everything, or will I hit paywalls?Everything. Every module, every worker, every site, both languages — one price. If a software feature ever costs extra, we broke our own rule; call us on it.
Who sees my company's data?Your company. Not other companies, not advertisers, not anyone — isolated at the database level. On a GC's project, only what the project needs feeds up, and that's the point, not a leak.
Do I need IT? Training? An implementation consultant? No, no, and no. Your company deploys in about an hour, and the product is designed for gloves, sunlight and a bad day. If you want white-glove anyway, we offer it — but nobody needs it.
Who's behind this?A construction operator in British Columbia and the team that builds Datum — not a software company that visited a jobsite once. Read the note below.
A note from the founder

I'm a company owner. I've bought and used a lot of the software that's out there — and I work directly with a large number of people in this industry, every day. I hear the same complaints all the time: per-user fees that punish you for hiring, "call for pricing," support tickets that go nowhere, and tools your crew gives up on by week two.

Datum exists to bridge that gap. There's no big corporation behind it — just people who use this stuff for real and are tired of how it's been done. The demo is public and the pricing is on the page because if the product can't convince you by itself, no salesperson should.

Our goal is simple and it doesn't change: deliver the absolute best product possible, always. Tell us what hurts — that's what gets built next.

— Sam
